She not only studied ballet and was a gymnast for twelve years, but also attended college for two years. Steele worked as a computer programmer prior to starting out in the adult entertainment industry as a nude model and exotic dancer. Selena first began performing in explicit hardcore movies at age 27 in 1988. She took a brief hiatus from adult films in the mid-1990's, but eventually made a comeback playing MILF roles in hardcore movies in 2001.
